What makes these the best 3D portfolio websites
We're not impressed by 3D for the sake of it. A rotating model or a scroll-triggered scene only earns a spot if it makes the work easier to understand, not harder. Depth should pull you in, not slow you down.
3D portfolios by designers
Most of the 3D work on this list isn't built by developers, it's built by designers pushing what a page builder can do. Pacome Pertant and Juan Mora both use depth and layering to guide the eye instead of just showing it off.
Where 3D meets code
Some of the most memorable 3D portfolios aren't design tricks, they're built. Bruno Simon is still the reference point, a full 3D car you drive through his work. If that's more your speed, we've got a whole page on interactive portfolios too.
Looking for 3D artist portfolios
If you're after portfolios from 3D artists and character designers rather than portfolio sites styled with 3D, that's a different list. Check our 3D artist portfolios instead.
A few worth studying
Scheme Engine. Depth used with restraint. Every scene has a reason to exist.
U x Machina. Heavier, more abstract 3D, and it fits the agency's tone completely.
BeNorth. Proof that 3D doesn't have to mean dark and moody. Clean, brand-led, still dimensional.
